LAYOUT and COLOURS
Your old-fashioned sign can be manufactured to your specification – you may choose background and text colour, specific fonts etc. Alternatively, we can reproduce exact design layouts, or you may decide to allow us artistic licence. A design will always be agreed prior to production.
Fonts can be reproduced from a variety of sources such as Letraset or indeed MicrosoftWord etc., but it must be noted that certain fonts cannot be successfully reproduced ‘by brush’ (e.g. MSWord ‘Barber Pole’). The sign will invariably incorporate the font styles and flourishes typical of early twentieth century signage.
Colours for background and text can be closely-matched to either the Pantone or household paint manufacturers colour ranges.

TRIM
Timber mouldings to trim the sign range from simple ‘bullnose’ skirting (see Tattooist sign in the Gallery) to more decorative ‘ogee’ and picture rail profiles (see below).
